The whitetail deer is indigenous to Texas. The whitetail population in the Texas Hill Country is more
concentrated than any other place in the world. The State of Texas estimates that there are over 4 million
deer in a four county area including Burnet, Llano, Mason and Gillespie counties. Our region has been
named the Whitetail capital of the world. We offer management whitetail and trophy whitetail from 135 to
160 class.
Hunting seasons for bow start in October and rifle season starts in November.
