Fallow Deer Hunts

The fallow deer is from Europe but has been introduced in many areas in the United States, and is thriving
on many Texas ranches.  There are three different types of Fallow Deer. The Fallow Deer are spotted,
white and chocolate in color. Their antlers are pal matted and make a great trophy. Fallow have one baby
per year.  Breeding season is November with babies dropping in June.  Average life span is 20 years.  
Fallow are believed to be related to Sika deer.


In Texas these deer can be hunted all year.
